As a child steps into Prarthana, her/his ears vibrate with the sound of Om – the universal prayer. They inhale a unique, beautiful fragrance of Sambrani, that fills them up with peace and happiness. It calms the nerves and gives tranquility, thus making the person ready for prayers. Once the assembly starts, students close their eyes for 2 mins, holding the Chin mudra. Next, they recite the prayer of the day, chant the shloka, sing the National Song and the National Anthem. We celebrate student’s birthdays by singing a song composed by our music teachers.
